Pebble Beach Pro-Am predictions
The Golfing Gazette’s experts have made their predictions for the winner of this week’s Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
Charlie Walker: I’m taking Jason Day for the win at Pebble Beach! He’s had two solid results in 2026 so far, and was knocking on the door of a top 10 here last season. This year, he goes one step further and wins it.
James Shearman: Russell Henley is as consistent as anyone on the PGA Tour, finishing in the top 20 in his last 10 starts. His world-class approach game also suits Pebble Beach perfectly, while his below-average driving distance won’t be as exposed as at other courses.
Peter Lynch: Shane Lowry has really impressed here before, and I think he’s got what it takes this week to come out on top, even with his close friend Rory McIlroy and world number one Scottie Scheffler among a very talented field.
Jordan Harris: There is one player in the field with a brilliant record at Pebble Beach who has also won on Poa already this year. So anything Chris Gotterup can do with two wins already, Justin Rose can match this week.
Antony Martin: I’m going with Matt Fitzpatrick. Showed signs of top form last week, and his driving and short game seem to be the perfect match for Pebble, even though he’s only had one top-10 in 6 starts there.
