Patrick Reed leads LIV Dallas by three strokes heading into the final round at Maridoe Golf Club on Sunday.
After rounds of 67 and 68, Reed is sitting on nine-under par after two rounds, three clear of Paul Casey and Abraham Ancer.
The man from Texas has been in scintillating form at Maridoe during the first two rounds.
His Four Aces teammate Harold Varner III lauded Reed’s short game after day one at LIV Dallas, and he’ll need that part of his game to be as sharp as ever once again on Sunday.
While the 34-year-old has a healthy lead, anything can happen on the final day at Maridoe Golf Club.
Bryson DeChambeau insisted he can still catch Reed at LIV Dallas, despite being nine shots behind with only one round remaining.
The man affectionately known as ‘Captain America’ just needs to go out and do his own thing on Sunday.
Patrick Reed taken aback Pat Perez’s question after day two at LIV Dallas
The 34-year-old’s game has been trending in the right direction over the past couple of months.
He has finished inside the top-25 in his last six starts on LIV, and has two top-10 finishes to his name in the last four events he has played.

So can Reed get the job done on Sunday? If he does, it would be his first ever win on LIV Golf.
And a victory at Maridoe Golf Club would represent another first for him as well.
After his second round 68, Pat Perez asked Reed how it would feel to win in his home state of Texas for the first time in his career.
Reed responded by saying: “Yeh that’s embarrassing to hear that, but yeah, of course I’m excited. At the end of the day, I’ve just got to go out and try to win the day again, and you know, go out there and just keep playing golf. Just trust the process, I know I’ve been playing some solid golf. My scores haven’t quite been reflecting how I’ve been playing. With the new flat-stick in play, my old faithful, it seems to have just given me that extra bit of confidence to go out there and play golf.“
There is nothing Reed would love more than to go out and win convincingly in his home state on Sunday.
Patrick Reed’s 2025 LIV results
The 2018 Masters champion is too good of a player not to have won on LIV.
His stats this year are extremely underwhelming as well, given his quality:
| LIV Results | Reed |
| Events played | 8 |
| Wins | 0 |
| Top-5s | 1 |
| Top-10s | 3 |
Outside of LIV, Reed has impressed in the majors, with a third place finish at The Masters and a tie for 23rd at the US Open.
However, he’s still looking for his first win this season. Will Reed be able to break his duck at LIV Dallas? He certainly is in a good position to achieve his first ever victory on LIV since joining the Saudi-backed outfit.
