Nelly Korda has enjoyed a stunning career so far, and will be eager to build on her success in the 2025 LPGA Tour season.

Korda has been backed to win more majors, with the American icon currently on two such titles at the age of 26.

Brandel Chamblee thinks Korda can become a bigger star, with the latter now seeking a 16th LPGA Tour career win.

World number one Korda boasts two top 10 finishes from her two events in 2025 so far, which comes on the back of seven wins last year.

It mirrored the success of Scottie Scheffler on the PGA Tour, who like Korda won seven titles, including a major.

Nelly Korda names three wood as hardest club to hit in golf

The latter has now shared key insight into her game, having discussed what she thinks is the hardest club to hit in golf with Trottie Golf.

“I need to like the look of the head,” said Korda. “If the head performs then I am putting it in. For me the three wood is the hardest club to hit.

“You hit it with loft off the tee, so you have to like the height off the tee and you have to like the height off the ground, because that is what you are also hitting into greens and par fives.

“At the end of the day, I feel like for longer hitters, par fives are such a crucial hole for us because that’s where you make the most birdies, where you can capitalise the most. So having woods that can perform and come in high and soft and do what you want is very crucial.”

Plenty of exciting battles can now be expected in the 2025 LPGA Tour season, with Korda having very much put a target on her own back.

But given her ability and indeed her previous success, the American is likely to thrive under the pressure as opposed to collapsing under it.
