Nelly Korda brought her stunning 2024 LPGA Tour season to an end with a T5 finish at the CME Group Tour Championship.
Korda clinched her seventh title of the season at The ANNIKA, with the American unsurprisingly occupying the number one spot in the world.
She finished on -15 in the final event at Tiburon Golf Club, with Jeeno Thitikul emerging victorious and taking home the $4million prize.
Brandel Chamblee thinks Korda is a slow starter, although there can be no debating her ability to finish strong.
That was certainly the case at the CME Group Tour Championship, where she carded rounds of 72, 66, 69 and 66.

A figure of $227,500 went her way for the T5 finish, with Justin Ray now sharing a hugely impressive statistic following the end of her final round of 2024.
“Nelly Korda finished the 2024 LPGA season shooting in the 60s in 63.2% of her rounds played,” he wrote on X.

“That is the highest single-season percentage of rounds in the 60s all-time by a player with 50 or more rounds that year.”
What did Nelly Korda achieve in the 2024 LPGA Tour season?
Korda’s superb season includes five wins in a row, with the 26-year-old securing her second major as well as helping the US team win the Solheim Cup.
She captured the LPGA Player of the Year prize with three events still to be played, having started her success at the LPGA Drive On Championship.

It is, incidentally, very similar to the phenomenal PGA Tour season enjoyed by her fellow American and fellow world number one Scottie Scheffler.

He also won seven titles in 2024, including the Masters and an Olympic gold medal, with Scheffler twice a runner-up.
Korda meanwhile finished the LPGA Tour season with 11 top-10s, with 13 of 16 cuts made and a lowest round of 65.
