Michael Kim has commented on the pace of play at the BMW PGA Championship after making his first appearance in the flagship event on the DP World Tour.
Wentworth once again delivered a fantastic tournament, with one eye firmly on the players who immediately departed for Bethpage after Sunday’s final round ahead of the Ryder Cup later this month.
It was actually one of Luke Donald‘s vice-captains who emerged victorious at the BMW PGA Championship with Alex Noren winning the title for a second time in his career.
Elsewhere, Matthew Fitzpatrick, Tyrrell Hatton and Viktor Hovland all finished in a tie for fifth in Surrey. Rory McIlroy meanwhile gave the fans plenty to cheer with a 65 on Sunday.
Michael Kim comments on the pace of play at the BMW PGA Championship
Unfortunately for Michael Kim, a rare trip across the pond got off to a frustrating start. The American missed the cut after posting rounds of 74 and 70.
Kim has now taken to social media to comment on playing Wentworth for the first time, and opened up on a couple of the mistakes he made which cost him the chance to continue playing into the weekend.

He also issued his verdict on the pace of play on the DP World Tour in light of the criticism the PGA Tour has come in for over the last few months, particularly in the early stages of 2025.
“Feel like the Euro Tour had a better reputation about slow play than the PGA Tour. Nope, same pace of play as the PGA Tour,” he wrote.
Open de France is next up for PGA Tour star
Kim looks set to make the most of booking his ticket to next year’s signature events on the PGA Tour. The 32-year-old ended up finishing 31st in the FedEx Cup standings, narrowly missing out on making it to the Tour Championship.
As well as playing at Wentworth this past week, Kim will tee it up at the Open de France in the coming days. The likes of Corey Conners and Min Woo Lee will also feature, with many of the biggest European names now preparing for the Ryder Cup.
