Michael Kim enjoyed a fine season on the PGA Tour, during which he came agonisingly close to an elusive win.

Kim is a one-time PGA Tour champion, with his only success having arrived at the John Deere Classic back in 2018.

The American very nearly added to that title at the 2025 WM Phoenix Open, but finished runner-up to Thomas Detry.

In a full season on the PGA Tour, Kim made 22 of 27 cuts, with one runner-up finish and four top 10s posted.

Along with his superb efforts on the course in 2025, Kim also kept golf fans satisfied with constant updates and insights on social media.

And he’s now issued an end-of-year message, in which he’s named his most difficult course of the season.

The American wrote on X: “Hardest course of the year: Oakmont, honorable mention: Memorial Muirfield.”

Oakmont Country Club played host to the US Open, where J.J. Spaun claimed his first major championship title.

And Muirfield Village Golf Club hosted the Memorial Tournament, which was won by world number one Scottie Scheffler.

Unsurprisingly, he named that as his favorite week in his end-of-season update, in which he also named Tommy Fleetwood as the best player he had never played with.

And he also admirably admitted his biggest heartbreak, recalling a putt from Viktor Hovland that forced him out of the Tour Championship.
