Max Homa is currently focusing on the WM Phoenix Open, but the American also has another Ryder Cup place on his mind.
Homa has praised his caddie Joe Greiner ahead of the latest PGA Tour event, which will be his fourth of the season.
He is among several American players looking to impress US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley, with the next edition of the event taking place in September.
New York’s Bethpage Black plays host to the Ryder Cup, with Luke Donald and his European side the defending champions.
The hosts won 16½-11½ in Rome in 2023, with Homa making five appearances for the visitors, earning them 3.5 points.

Max Homa planned to keep workload up after losing 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome
Both figures were more than any of his other teammates, with the American grateful to have been given that opportunity despite the defeat.
Speaking ahead of the 2025 season, he said on the Son of a Butch with Claude Harmon podcast: “I really enjoyed the environment and I really do like playing away.

“I remember I got on the bus on Sunday and we lost. I’m older now, I’m 33 about to be 34, and it’s hard to keep seems, and I told my wife I have to keep my workload up and stay feeling okay because I want to do this again away in four years.
“I am super stoked to have an opportunity at Bethpage next year and that will be a cool thing if I get to do that but the away ones are something else.
“Obviously they have been very difficult in Ryder Cups but getting the crowd to shut up is a very good feeling.
“Getting those moments was cool, but it did snowball. I was lucky. The captains made me feel good about myself by giving me five chances.
“I got to play five matches, we weren’t supposed to do that but they saw I was playing well and it did snowball.
“As the days went on I felt more and more comfortable, and my game felt better and better. It goes to the Masters this year, when I did get in those moments and the club got in my hand I felt like me and that was the most important part.”

US 2025 Ryder Cup team rankings as Max Homa suffers drop
Homa more than held his own at the 2023 Ryder Cup, despite being part of a US team that included the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele.
None of the 12 players managed to avoid defeat at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, with Rickie Fowler and Jordan Spieth joining Scheffler in failing to win a match.
Homa outshone several Ryder Cup veterans on his debut, but it remains to be seen if he will make the cut at Bethpage Black.
Schauffele currently tops the charts for the hosts, with Scheffler in second and LIV Golf’s Bryson DeChambeau in third.
Collin Morikawa and Billy Horschel complete the top five as the countdown to New York continues, with Homa recently dropping one spot to 15th.
