Max Greyserman will head into the final round of the Baycurrent Classic on Sunday tied for the lead with Xander Schauffele.
Greyserman, still without a PGA Tour win to his name, carded a round of even-par 71 while Schauffele posted a 67 to level things up at Yokohama Country Club.
The Baycurrent Classic has been affected by bad weather this week, especially on Thursday and Saturday and, as a result, scoring has been challenging to say the least.
Nevertheless, Greyserman and Schauffele are sitting on 12-under par after three rounds
Schauffele was proud after his round of 67 at the Baycurrent Classic on day three, and rightly so.
The 31-year-old hasn’t been in contention for a while now, so he would have been feeling the pressure on Saturday.

Schauffele admitted it has been ‘crazy’ playing the Baycurrent Classic under such differing conditions throughout the week.
However, Greyserman didn’t struggle with the conditions until day three of the tournament.
Max Greyserman happy to get his third round over with at the Baycurrent Classic
Greyserman was extremely open with reporters following his third round 71 in Japan on Saturday afternoon.
He didn’t play anywhere near his best, and hit only 11 greens in regulation and just 60 per cent of the fairways.
The 30-year-old was asked by journalists to sum up his round after he walked off the 18th green at Yokohama Country Club.
Greyserman said: “Tired, tired. Yeah, I grinded out there. I didn’t play very well. I played fine, just made maybe two mistakes that I don’t normally make. It was wet. It was not really cold but the ball wasn’t going very far. The course is playing really long, really, really long.

“Yeah, honestly, just happy to get those 18 holes over with the way I kind of was hitting the ball on some of those holes. In a good spot so nothing to worry about.“
Greyserman was clearly unhappy with how he played on day three but the good news is that he is in a tie for the lead heading into the final round of a PGA Tour tournament.
And he unquestionably would have taken that at the start of the week.
Max Greyserman comments on the Baycurrent Classic crowds
Greyserman described the Japanese fans as knowledgeable and respectful earlier this week.
However, he’s under no illusions as to who they are pulling for at the Yokohama Country Club.
Speaking after his third round on Saturday, Greyserman commented on the Japanese fans’ support fro Schauffele.
He said: “I played with him (Schauffele) today so there’s one thing I can draw from, but whether I play with Xander or, I don’t know, Tiger in his prime or any other guy out here, it’s the same golf. So I do think the crowd is rooting for Xander a little more than other people, I could sense that a little bit today.
“But plenty of past experience. Final group on a Sunday, I’ve done that before, done that probably a couple times. Just go out there and do the same thing I do every day.“
As Greyserman said, he can expect more of the same during the final round of the Baycurrent Classic, when he plays alongside Schauffele once again.
If he is to get his first PGA Tour win, he will need to focus entirely on his own game, and not allow outside noise to distract him.
