LIV Golf has caused quite the stir in the golfing world in the last few years.
The breakaway tour, backed heavily by the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund, has attracted some of the top names in golf over.
The likes of Bryson DeChambeau, Brooks Koepka, and Phil Mickelson are all players to have made the jump over to LIV in recent years.

There are also a number of experienced heads on the tour, with the likes of Lee Westwood, Richard Bland and Sergio Garcia all taking the money late in their careers.
Indeed, another player who was struggling on the PGA Tour to make the shift is German star, Martin Kaymer.
The two-time major winner is the captain of the Cleeks GC over on LIV. And he’s been discussing the future of LIV, sharing what chairman Yasser Al-Rumayyan has in store for the future.

Martin Kaymer shares what LIV Golf’s plans are for the future
Speaking in an interview with The Times, Kaymer has revealed what the PIF higher-ups have promised when it comes to the future of LIV Golf.
“If you’ve been to a LIV event and don’t like it, fair enough. But I’ve never been to a game of cricket, so I’m not going to give an opinion because I haven’t experienced what it’s like,” Kaymer says.
“We have a commitment from Yasir [Al-Rumayyan, the PIF governor] that LIV will live longer than him.
“It’s not a project for two or three years. They’re planning to do it for the next 50 or 60 years and longer. That’s why we believe in it and want to be part of it.”
Will Kaymer and co stick it out with LIV?
Kaymer actually got his first win this weekend in LIV as his Cleeks team won the team event for the first time.
For now, he is tied to LIV for at least another season, so his earnings are safe on that front.
But going into the future, it remains to be seen if the German will indeed stick it out with LIV.
The money will obviously be there for now at least but if LIV keeps expanding and growing and they decide they want new players in instead of Kaymer, then where does he go?
This is a problem a lot of the players will have eventually. LIV has high aspirations and unfortunately, experienced players who are past their best will likely be cast aside.
