The LPGA Tour has confirmed its schedule for the 2025 season, in what will be its 75th anniversary year.

Nelly Korda won The ANNIKA in the latest LPGA Tour event, but unfortunately the tournament also gained negative attention.

Slow play disrupted The ANNIKA before Korda eventually won by three shots for her seventh title of the season.

It was the penultimate competition in the Race to CME Globe, with Korda having made a successful return from injury to come out on top.

Prior to that victory, Korda was paired with basketball star Caitlin Clark, with the duo linking up in the Pro-Am, much to the delight of supporters.

LPGA Tour confirms record-breaking prize money for 2025

One event remains, but the LPGA Tour has now looked ahead to 2025, with the world’s longest-running women’s professional sports organization announcing its schedule.

As per the LPGA Tour website, it will feature 35 events, 33 of which are official, with an historic total prize fund of over $131million.

It represents the largest total in its 75-year history, and marks an increase of more than $62million in four years, up approximately 90% from 2021.

What will the 2025 LPGA Tour season look like?

The significant increase proves just how much the game is growing, with plenty of growth still on the cards in years to come.

World number one Korda has certainly played a crucial role in that growth, with the American enjoying a stunning season on the course.

The LPGA Tour will, however, need to address issues such as slow play as soon as possible in order to avoid any disruptions to their grand plans.

As for its current success stories, a total of nine events have already announced elevated purses from the 2024 season, with further purse increases set to be announced.
