LIV Golf have announced their latest signing as one of the ten players to earn a PGA Tour card through the DP World Tour in 2025 has now joined.

LIV have been on the lookout for fresh blood in recent times and there have been question marks over some of their top stars’ future.

Nevertheless, the LIV project appears to be continuing in earnest for now and they’ve moved to sign DP World Tour star, Laurie Canter.

The year is 2030… How do you think LIV Golf will look and who will be their biggest star?

After a hugely successful 12 months on the circuit, Canter earned his shot at the PGA Tour for 2026. However, he has now opted to join LIV.

Laurie Canter confirmed to LIV Golf

Canter to LIV has been rumoured for some time and he’s already well known in the circles over there following his appearances a few seasons ago.

Now, though, he has sealed a permanent move to the tour and joins the Majesticks GC alongside the likes of Ian Poulter and Lee Westwood.

The Majesticks have been one of the more underwhelming teams on LIV Golf since its inception and they’ll be hoping the addition of an in-form and ever-improving Canter can change their fortunes.

The DP World Tour was always going to lose Canter at some point but with him making the switch to LIV and not the PGA Tour, it will sting a touch more.

Of course, Canter will argue he has to take the chance and he’ll no doubt be pocketing a pretty penny as well.

Indeed, over on Instagram, one man who seemed glad to see the back of Canter – in a friendly way – was Pablo Larazzabal.

Taking to the platform to send his own message, the Spaniard suggested it’s now one less difficult player to compete with.

“Great player for the Majestics and one player less to beat around here… 😬… good luck Laurie and the Majestics for 2026…” he wrote.

Canter, then, will no doubt be desperate to prove his worth and show that he can star on LIV among their big names.
