Kevin Kisner will serve as one of Keegan Bradley’s vice-captains at the Ryder Cup in September.
Bradley is now sitting inside the top 10 of the U.S. Ryder Cup points list.
And Kisner has been speaking about the prospect of the recent Travelers champion playing at Bethpage Black in September.
It has been suggested that the top American players will want Bradley to play on the Ryder Cup team, after his superbly consistent run of form throughout 2025.
And it’s little wonder as to why given his fine performances this season.

Interestingly, Dan Rapaport recently suggested that Kisner would be the ideal Ryder Cup captain if Bradley stepped down.
So what will happen at the Ryder Cup? It’s looking like Bradley will almost certainly play, but could he really act as a playing captain?
Kevin Kisner discusses Keegan Bradley and the Ryder Cup
Kisner is well known for being a straight shooter.
So when he’s asked a question, he tells it how it is more often than not.
When speaking on the Golf Channel, Bradley’s vice-captains all discussed the upcoming showdown at Bethpage Black.
First up, Webb Simpson discussed the camaraderie present amongst the U.S. team.
He said: “We are all just wanting to help in any way we can. We have great experience having Jim Furyk. He has done this once at a Ryder Cup. Once at a Presidents Cup. Many other teams as assistant captain.
Obviously Brandt and Kevin had their runs as assistants last year at the Presidents Cup.
“I had a chance to do it in 2022, so I think whatever the line up ends up being, we are all unified. We want to put forward the best 12 guys for the USA and if Keegan happens to be one of the 12, great. If not he is going to be an incredible captain as he’s already been.“
Then it was Kisner’s turn. He was asked whether he believes Bradley should play on the team.
He said: “It also comes down to his decision. If he feels he wants a spot on the team then he has to make that call. If he can juggle both roles it’s only up to him so we will see what he thinks, we still have a long way to go and a lot of points at the British Open.

So should he be on the team?
Kisner responded: “If picked today, yeah. But we have a long way to go.“
And finally, Brandt Snedeker offered high praise for the captain as well.
He said: “I think his play over the last month has really produced some quality golf under stressful situations. That being said, there is five more events that really will make the team look differently to what it does right now. As the team looks today it is going to change a lot, there is still a lot of points out there.
“If we are not running every scenario right now with all 25 of those guys making the team we are not doing our job.
“Keegan is a part of that but there are plenty of other guys on the outside looking in right now, playing great golf, who are one week away from changing the whole narrative.
“So I think our job as vice captains is to run all those scenarios and run them by Keegan and let him know how we are thinking and what we are looking.
“For him ultimately it’s his team and we are there to support him in any way we can.“
Bradley would be the first Ryder Cup playing captain since 1963
Incredibly, Bradley would become the first playing captain since Arnold Palmer way back in 1963.
If the 39-year-old does indeed decide to serve in both roles, it would be a highly unusual move in the modern era.
Team Europe will be desperate for Bradley to do exactly that at the Ryder Cup.
The man from Vermont has been playing some exceptional golf this season, but combining captaincy and playing duties at Bethpage Black will be an incredibly challenging thing to do.
As things stand, all signs are suggesting that Bradley will not back down from the challenge.
