Justin Thomas was one of a number of players to come back into form at the WM Phoenix Open but he’s revealed that one PGA Tour player beats him every time when practicing.
Thomas roared back to life along with good friend Jordan Spieth to finish inside the the top six.
Thomas made history by making an eagle on the 18th in fine fashion to put him up to 15-under par and a more than respectable finish at TPC Scottsdale.
However, while the American might have been back to something like his best, Thomas admitted that when it comes to practice matches, one player has had more money off him than anyone else in the game.

Justin Thomas reveals the PGA Tour player who always beats him in practice rounds
Thomas took himself off to the commentary booth after holing out on the 18th at TPC Scottsdale to huge applause.
However, when watching Daniel Berger roll in yet another birdie, the two-time major winner admitted that Berger is very much his arch nemesis in practice matches.
“Berger hands down has more of my money than any player out here,” Thomas said.
“I literally cannot beat him at home and it frustrates me so bad. I just keep trying and he just keeps beating me, so not surprised to see him playing well.”

What Justin Thomas said about Jordan Spieth’s return to form
Anyone who follows golf knows that Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth are very close friends off the course.
With the pair both producing good performances in Arizona, it was a refreshing change to see both in such a positive mind-set.
And speaking of Spieth, Thomas admitted he’d love to see the duo back competing more regularly.
“I don’t know. You can probably answer that question better than me. But we both are — we love to compete. We love to have chances to win tournaments. Although we both had a good week, we’re not going to finish the week satisfied without getting the trophy,” Thomas said.
“I know we both have really wanted to push each other again and get back doing it out for tournaments, so hopefully this will springboard a little bit of a stretch of that.”
Thomas has enjoyed a sharp upturn in form since the back end of 2024 and his top six finish at the WM Open means it’s now four top 15s in a row.
