Jordan Spieth is well known for pulling off miraculous shots when he needs them the most.
Sure, we haven’t seen Spieth at his brilliant best over the past three years or so, but he still thrills the galleries whenever he plays on the PGA Tour.
Spieth has been working incredibly hard on his game during the off-season.
And the 32-year-old from Dallas is hopeful of discovering his best form during the 2026 PGA Tour season.
Do you believe Jordan Spieth can get back to his best?
How many times will he win on the PGA Tour this season?
The great thing about Spieth is that he has never stopped believing that he can win again.
That is mostly down to his almost unrivalled ability to pull off the most difficult shots when it matters the most.
Jordan Spieth picks the best shot he has ever hit during his entire career
Spieth has hit some truly sensational shots throughout the years.
He’s holed out numerous times from off the green, but one full shot he hit nearly nine years ago now stands alone as his greatest ever, according to the man himself.
When speaking on GOLF.com’s YouTube channel, Spieth responded when asked what he thinks is the best shot he has ever hit throughout his career.

He said: “The 6-iron I hit at the Open Championship at Birkdale after the conundrum on the previous hole.
“I stepped up with a 6-iron there and just hit a dead-straight rocket. It almost went in and I kind of took back control of the Championship there.
“I think it was probably the best shot I have ever hit. It was like a hold 6-iron, a little wind, it was starting to rain a little, the wind was off the right.
“I just lined up right at the pin and I just tried to hold a pinchy fade and it’s just going to hold the breeze.
“So it went to about three-and-a-half feet and I went on a run from there.“
Why Jordan Spieth’s shot on the 14th at the 2017 Open was so crucial
Spieth was very much in danger of throwing away the 2017 Open Championship after his antics on the 13th hole at Royal Birkdale during the final round.
In the end he made a terrific bogey after taking an unplayable lie and hitting his third shot from the driving range!
What do you expect from Jordan Spieth in 2026?
Will he win on the PGA Tour this season?
However, the awful tee shot he hit on 13 would have definitely been playing heavily on his mind as he walked off the green.
So to fire back immediately with what was a sensational tee shot on the par-three 14th was truly remarkable.
Not only was Spieth’s shot on the 14th hole exceptional in its own right but the timing of it made it all the more special.
That’s probably why he picked that shot as his greatest of all time.
