Jon Rahm secured yet another top-ten finish at LIV Golf’s Singapore event at Sentosa Golf Club.
The Spaniard has clearly been enjoying himself since turning his back on the PGA Tour in December 2023.
Despite publically admitting he’s not a fan of the 54-hole format, the 29-year-old’s most disappointing finish came in Hong Kong, where he still made the top 15.
Two-time major winner Rahm has four top-five finishes in 2024 and was once again impressive on the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia.
A four-under 67 concluded the Spaniard’s tournament on Sunday afternoon, finishing six shots adrift of eventual winner Brooks Koepka.
One part of Jon Rahm’s game really stood out at Sentosa Golf Club

There are currently no apparent weaknesses in Rahm’s game, and he sits second in LIV’s individual standings.
Per LIV Golf’s statistics, no player has made more birdies than Rahm, 5.24 per round. Furthermore, the 29-year-old also sits sixth for scrambling and driving distance.
Another impressive statistic is Rahm’s putting average. Throughout the entire season, he’s managed an average of 1.57, ranking him eighth.
However, on Sentosa’s slippery greens, Rahm ranked second with a putting average of 1.50. Ahead of next month’s PGA Championship at Valhalla, it’s an ominous sign.
Can Jon Rahm compete at the PGA Championship at Valhalla?
When looking at who will offer Scottie Scheffler the most competition at Valhalla, Rahm has to be in the conversation.
Tee-to-green, the Spaniard is an elite talent; he’s also been impressive with the short stick throughout his career.
However, the fine margins ultimately separate the best players in the world, and Rahm’s slight improvement on the green’s at Sentosa could prove significant during the year’s second major.
If Rahm, along with Koepka, can maintain recent form, there’s every chance of a pulsating event taking place in Louisville in just a matter of weeks.
It was always going to take an elite player to topple Scheffler, and the LIV contingent, on current form, are in with a chance of competing.
