Jon Rahm played alongside Bryson DeChambeau on day three of LIV Golf Adelaide on Saturday.

Rahm and DeChambeau are the two biggest stars on LIV Golf, by quite some distance.

So the powers that be at LIV will be delighted to see them both tied for the lead heading into the final round of LIV Golf Adelaide.

Who do you want to win LIV Golf Adelaide?

Bryson or Rahm??

The Spaniard and the American haven’t always been on the same page regarding their opinions on LIV Golf.

Rahm and DeChambeau took different stances on LIV’s change to 72 holes, with the Spaniard very keen on the move.

However, the two-time US Open champion felt disillusioned by LIV’s decision to switch from 54-hole tournaments.

Sunday in Adelaide will be only the second time in history that a LIV event has been played over four rounds.

And both players will be desperate to win.

The two LIV stars are tied on 19-under-par heading into the final round in Australia.

It seems like the final 18 holes will be a two-horse race, with third placed Anthony Kim currently sitting five shots adrift of the two golfing superstars.

Rahm spoke to reporters after his third round at The Grange Golf Club and was asked if he enjoyed playing alongside an exciting, electric and emotional golfer like DeChambeau.

I think so, especially when we play the way we did, the Spaniard said.

Slow start for both of us, but from basically 6 on, both of us — yeah, from 6 on, we’re both basically 7- and 8-under. Bryson really got it going. At one point it looked like he was going to be uncatchable. Seems like after a big mistake on 13, I got things going.

It’s a lot of fun. I feel like I had no business shooting 6-under today, but it’s not how, it’s how many, and I was able to find a way, and hopefully I can tidy it up for tomorrow.

DeChambeau played a lot better than Rahm on day three.

He beat Rahm by just two strokes, but the Spaniard’s late flurry made his round of six-under-par seem a lot better than it actually was.

What Jon Rahm is hoping for in the final round of LIV Golf Adelaide

Jon Rahm was asked whether he’s looking forward to going head-to-head with DeChambeau during the final round in Adelaide on Sunday.

I think we’ll both be looking forward to it, and I hope it’s a banger, he said.

Who do you prefer?

Bryson or Rory…

I hope we both have a good day, and may the best player win.

There is no doubt that the final round of LIV Golf Adelaide will be filled with plenty of excitement, drama and maybe even some tension between Rahm and DeChambeau.

Rahm perhaps needs the victory more than DeChambeau does, given the fact that he failed to win in 2025.

As the Spaniard said, Sunday in Adelaide should be an absolute ‘banger’.
