Joaquin Niemann is in action in Saudi Arabia this week as the LIV Golf star looks to finish off his season in style.
Niemann was in sensational form on LIV Golf in 2025, racking up five wins throughout the season.
Incredibly, he was prevented from winning the individual title due to Jon Rahm‘s remarkable consistency but if truth be told, the Chilean deserved that honor more than the Spaniard did.
Niemann’s putting actually let him down in the majors in 2025, so that’s something he will be looking to improve moving forward.
The man from Chile is hugely talented but he will be fully aware that he needs to improve his performances outside of LIV.

Joaquin Niemann shares feelings about the course at the PIF Saudi International
Niemann spoke to reporters before the first round in Riyadh this week.
He was asked to give his opinion on the golf course being used for the PIF Saudi International.
Niemann said: “Yeah, I think first, I obviously want to congratulate what Golf Saudi has made on the improvements on this golf course. The conditions are unbelievable. Probably was a lot of work from them to get where it is right now.
“They’re really enjoyable to play on. The greens are so good right now. They’re running, starting where you want, so I feel like it might be easier to make putts this year hopefully.
“Yeah, I think it’s going to be playing similar to last year. Maybe the rough is a little bit longer so might be a little bit more tricky if you miss it.“
The 27-year-old is clearly relishing the opportunity to play Riyadh Golf Club this week.
However, he will have to be on top form if he is to win the tournament, with Caleb Surratt currently nine-under par through 12 holes at the time of writing!
LIV fans must keep an eye on International Series Rankings finale in Saudi
LIV have increased the pathways to the 2026 league, with two spots now available for a place on the circuit next season for the players who finish in first and second on the International Series Rankings.
So there is more to play for this week than purely just winning the event.
Scott Vincent currently tops the standings ahead of Yosuke Asaji.
The Saudi International is the final event of the international series, so it will be fascinating to see who ends up with a place on LIV in 2026.
Fortunately for Niemann, his place on LIV is clearly secure for the foreseeable future.
And it will be interesting to see how he performs this week at Riyadh Golf Club. The way he has performed throughout 2025 means that if he does win in Saudi, not one single person would be shocked.
