Jon Rahm is the LIV Golf individual champion once again as he made it two in a row to cement his spot as the best player on the breakaway tour.
Rahm finished at -22 at LIV Indianapolis and despite being beaten in a playoff by Sebastian Munoz, the Spaniard did enough to secure the overall win.
Of course, Rahm’s win over the season is even more impressive given how good Joaquin Niemann has played in 2025.
Niemann has five wins on LIV for the year but it still wasn’t enough to see off Rahm, who despite not winning all season, saw his consistency in finishing in the top ten see him over the line.
Now, after witnessing another fine display from Rahm, Niemann has given his verdict on just how good the Spaniard was.

Joaquin Niemann gives Jon Rahm verdict after LIV Golf Indianapolis
Jon Rahm’s form in 2025 has been quite ridiculous in terms of keeping in contention in nearly every event and it’s quite remarkable he hasn’t won but still emerged as champion.
Nevertheless, golf is all about consistency and that’s what makes Jon Rahm one of the very best in the world.
Indeed, after looking on and seeing Rahm pip him to the post, Joaquin Niemann has praised the Spanish star.
“Yeah, it was quite a show by Jon. I obviously played with him today, and I knew it was going to be a good battle. It was going to be a long day. I knew I needed to play well. I knew Jon was playing amazing golf lately,” Niemann said.
“We all know how good of a player he is, and yeah, he played amazing. I feel like he didn’t miss many shots, made a lot of putts, left his ball close to the hole pretty much every time.
“I played good. I started playing my best golf on the back nine, which I’m proud of it, but at the end of the day, the putts didn’t drop, and it wasn’t enough. Yeah, it’s kind of hard to swallow, like you said. But at the end of the day, I think it is what it is. I feel like it’s going to put something inside me to kind of work harder and try to be in this situation again next year and make it different.”
Jon Rahm’s remarkable LIV Golf season in 2025
Jon Rahm has performed brilliantly all season and the fact he hasn’t won is arguably more mind-blowing than him winning the title ahead of Niemann.
However, it is fully deserved and while the wins aren’t there, his finishes are quite ridiculous.
It took until the 9th event of the season for Rahm to even finish outside of the top ten, and even then, he only finished 11th in Dallas.
After that, Rahm went 2nd, T5, T2 and 2nd again this week to cap a remarkable season-ending run of form.
That sort of consistency has seen him stack up the points needed to go above Niemann and in the end, see him off.
So, while Niemann will be frustrated, you simply cannot argue that Rahm hasn’t deserved it.
