Brooks Koepka has been speaking about his idols in the golfing sphere and for once, named someone other than Tiger Woods as his top man.
Koepka, now strutting his stuff on the LIV tour, is a five-time major winner and considered one of the very best golfers of the last decade.
He was a big loss to the PGA Tour when he moved over to LIV with other star names like Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson. He’s also had controversies off the course and earned a bit of unfair reputation as a result.
However, Koepka has come across well ever since the Netflix Full Swing series and now speaking to Golf.com, he comes across just as well when discussing his idol in golf.
Brooks Koepka says Adam Scott was and still is his golf idol
Koepka was answering a range of questions on his life on and off the golf course.
And when discussing his favourite memory in terms of a win on tour, Koepka got into details of why and spoke of how playing with Adam Scott meant the world to him.
“Tiger Woods and Adam Scott, those were the two guys I idolised growing up. Getting to play with Scotty was really cool, he’s like my guy. Still is. He’s like my idol. I love the way his golf swing is, his personality, he’s such an honest dude and just such a nice guy, it’s hard not to love him,” Koepka said.

Scott, of course, is one of the most successful golfers on tour having enjoyed a glittering career so far.
The 43-year-old was a winner at The Masters in 2013 and has finished second in The Open, while coming third twice in the PGA Championship and grabbing a fourth in the US Open in 2015.
Scott has 32 professional wins overall, including an impressive 14 on the PGA Tour, although his last came way back in 2020 at The Genesis.
