Scottie Scheffler continued his PGA Tour dominance by winning the BMW Championship, with his former rival Jon Rahm taking the LIV Golf Individual Championship on the same weekend.
Rahm earned an $18million bonus for winning the LIV Golf Individual Championship title, despite narrowly losing out on the latest trophy.
Sebastian Munoz defeated Rahm in a playoff at LIV Golf Indianapolis, but the latter’s finish was enough to secure the season-long title over Joaquin Niemann.
Scheffler meanwhile secured his fifth PGA Tour win of 2025 at the BMW Championship, seeing off Robert MacIntyre by two shots.
World number one Scheffler celebrated with temporary caddie Michael Cromie at Caves Valley, although he does have Ted Scott back on his bag for the Tour Championship.

NBC drew 3.5million for the final round of the BMW Championship, compared to Fox’s 426,000 total for LIV Golf Indianapolis on Sunday.
The former represents a 43% increase from the 2.5million who watched Keegan Bradley win the 2024 BMW Championship.
Previously, 3million CBS viewers watched Viktor Hovland triumph in 2023, with 2.8million taking in Patrick Cantlay’s 2022 success on NBC.
Big LIV Golf Indianapolis crowd enjoy thriller at The Club at Chatham Hills
While it was Scheffler’s impressive win that attracted the bigger TV audience, huge crowds did take in LIV Golf Indianapolis.
The Club at Chatham Hills welcomed over 60,000 fans across the three-day event, with those supporters treated to a thriller.
It started with a stunning 12-under 59 from eventual winner Munoz on Friday, which represents the only sub-60 round on an elite professional golf tour to include a double bogey.
Rahm then just fell short of outshining him with a career-best 11-under 60 on Sunday, although that was enough to steal the Individual Championship title from Niemann.
But the Chilean also left with a smile on his face as he led his Torque GC side to the Team success in Indianapolis.
They shot a record cumulative 64-under to secure their first victory since 2023, while Munoz clinched his first individual title.
