In the never-ending quest for the perfect golf swing, both amateurs and professionals put themselves through the mill to get there but for Tiger Woods’ former coach Hank Haney, there’s one person who stands above everyone in the world right now.

Haney knows a good golf swing when he sees one having worked with some of the best to ever do it, including Tiger Woods and Mark O’Meara.

The 69-year-old, then, can very much be counted on to know what he’s talking about.

Of course, every golfer has a slightly different swing and we’ve seen non-conventional golf swings from the likes of Jim Furyk and Scottie Scheffler yield tremendous success.

However, according to Haney, there’s a standout in golf right now and remarkably, they don’t even play on the PGA or LIV Golf tours.

Hank Haney names Nelly Korda in having the best swing in golf

Haney has become known for his posts on social media and interacting with the golf masses.

And taking to his X account to post a clip of Korda’s swing, Haney has said that the 26-year-old American is currently in position of the finest swing in golf.

Nelly Korda in top company when it comes to golf’s best swings

Everyone will have an opinion on who has the best swing and why but in the main, a lot of golf fans tend to be in agreement.

Adam Scott is often seen as having the ideal swing for any golfer while Ernie Els has long been lauded for his effortless swing, hence his nickname, ‘The Big Easy’.

Of course, few people will look past Rory McIlroy when it comes to the best swing out there right now but even though he is outstanding, McIlroy is still working to improve his swing.

Effectively, then, it’s a case of doing what suits the individual but as Haney points out here, if you were to draw up the ideal technique, then Nelly Korda isn’t far off at all.
