Greg Norman has revealed that he is set to meet up with Jack Nicklaus next week.
Norman was very close with Nicklaus throughout his PGA Tour career.
However, their relationship soured after the Australian played a key role in the inception of LIV Golf.
Norman even labelled Nicklaus a ‘hypocrite’ after the Golden Bear’s comments on LIV Golf.

However, it appears as though a reconciliation could be imminent between the two greats of the game.
Greg Norman says he has a meeting planned with Jack Nicklaus
When speaking to UK publication The Times, Norman lifted the lid on a meeting he has planned with Nicklaus next week.
“I’ve had friends come up to me and say, ‘You know what? We were wrong about what we thought in the first 18 months,’ ” Norman claimed.
“I’m having lunch with Jack Nicklaus next week.
“At the end of the day, we’re old mates. Eventually you get to the other side because time is an amazing healer and the truth will set you free.”
‘The truth will set you free’ is a really interesting line from Norman.
The details of the meeting between Norman and Nicklaus will most likely remain private but hopefully, they manage to bury any lingering ill-feeling.

Norman is convinced that things could have been very different between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf if he had pushed a little harder.
During his interview with The Times, Norman insisted that the only regret he has about his lack of dialogue with the then PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan was that he didn’t push him harder to reach an agreement.

Norman explained: “He refused to answer my calls or acknowledge my letters (Jay Monahan).
“But I should have jumped in my car, taken an overnight bag with my pyjamas, and just laid on the couch in the foyer outside his office and refused to leave.
“As a lifetime member of the PGA Tour, I had every right to do that.”
Nobody knows what would have happened, had Norman been more persuasive and hard-nosed.
It’s fair to say that Monahan wouldn’t have been too happy to see Norman plotted up outside his office at PGA Tour headquarters, refusing to leave!
It seems there will be no merger between the two Tours moving forward and that’s just fine for the PGA Tour.
LIV, however, will struggle unless they start signing some star names.
