Tiger Woods is the reason why the PGA Tour is the behemoth that it has become over the past few decades.

Woods burst onto the PGA Tour scene in the mid-90s after winning three consecutive U.S. Amateur titles from 1994-1996.

The now 49-year-old then went on to enjoy one of the most successful PGA Tour careers of all time, with 82 wins to his name, including 15 major championships.

Woods holds the PGA Tour record for the most seasons with the best scoring average – nine in total.

Due to a mixture of injuries and off-course problems, Woods’ career came to somewhat of a halt in 2009 but he made the most remarkable comeback in the history of the game by winning the Tour Championship in 2018 and The Masters in 2019.

However, the past few years have been a real struggle for Tiger, with the former world number one undergoing multiple surgeries.

However, it has been claimed that Woods could extend his PGA Tour career due to his son’s rise in the game reinvigorating his love for the game.

Now that looks like it could be a genuine reality.

He has been written off so many times in the past, and there has been genuine concern that he may never play again due to the toll that injuries have taken on his body.

However, every golf fan across the globe was given a big boost on Tuesday as a video emerged of Tiger Woods hitting golf balls on the range at Liberty National.
