Wesley Bryan might not be the biggest name in golf in general but he has provided one of the moments of the weekend for his army of online fans.
Bryan is one half of the popular Bryan Bros on YouTube alongside brother George but he is also very much still involved on the PGA Tour as a professional player.
The American is playing this week’s Black Desert Championship as well as he looks to gain enough points to continue his card into 2025.
Going into the final throws of the second round, it very much looked like Bryan might well miss out on the cut and with it, put a spanner in the works.
Crucially for Bryan, his round was cut short last night as he faced a 15ft putt for Eagle which would send him into the weekend.
Thankfully for Bryan, he woke up and put in some work on the greens before rolling in a stunning putt to make it to the third and fourth round and above the cut line.
Remarkably, the putt meant Bryan jumped up some 57 spots on the leaderboard and he is now staying in Utah for the weekend to compete.
And over on social media platform X, there was plenty of reaction from golf fans who loved what Bryan had managed.

As always on X, big moments in PGA Tour events cause big reactions and it’s safe to say that the golfing world was pleased for Wesley Bryan here.
In among the comments was popular YouTuber Peter Finch, who left his own reaction.
Another fan, @yaakov_belfer, admitted he’d been waiting all night to see if Bryan made it.
“Was waiting for hours here in Australia to see if that eagle putt went down !! Man .. talk about being iced and than still coming up clutch !!! Really gotta feel like a free roll today .. let’s make some birdies !”
While another fan, @rmking_223 praised Bryan’s nerve after waiting overnight.
“Incredible! Probably couldn’t stop thinking about that putt over night! Nice work, such a good feeling!“
Another interesting point was raised by @LukeElvy, who suggested the players making the cut made a more interesting story than those at the top sometimes.
“This is a part of the Tour I’d like them to tap into more. The battle to make the cut, to get or keep status, to change their life is arguably the most potent part of the tour pro life. The stories are there…tell them more often.”
Bryan’s story, then, seems to have captured the imagination of the golf world here and alongside his YouTube work, it will be great to see him on the PGA Tour still.
On this evidence, he might just be about for some yet.
