Golf can be a funny old game in a lot of ways and Bryson DeChambeau always seems to be in the mix when it comes to big headlines nowadays.
DeChambeau has become a sensation in the sport after his YouTube channel took off. He then won the US Open, albeit DeChambeau was confused as to why Rory McIlroy didn’t hang around at the time following his win.
From there, DeChambeau has had former President Donald Trump on his channel in a video which Rick Shiels admitted shocked him in terms of the views.
The term ‘trail blazer’ comes to mind when you think of DeChambeau and at the moment, it’s hard to argue there’s a bigger name in golf.
Of course, fans are starved of the chance to see him on TV screens as much as they’d like thanks to his signing with the LIV Golf Tour.
Nevertheless, DeChambeau still played in the four PGA sanctioned majors this year and quite remarkably, he’s got himself into the top ten on the entire tour in a key metric.

Bryson DeChambeau in top ten money list despite only playing four PGA events
In a stunning stat shared by golf journalist Dylan Dethier, DeChambeau’s on-course earnings are shown from the PGA events this year.
And staggeringly, the American is in the top ten and above some huge names like Shane Lowry and Patrick Cantlay.
Of course, the majority of that near $7m came at the US Open where DeChambeau pocketed more than $4m from his epic head to head with Rory McIlroy.
Still, DeChambeau also finished runner up at the PGA and came sixth at the Masters as well.
Like many, he struggled at The Open at Royal Troon but still, it’s been a stunning year for Bryson.
Add that to the money he makes on the LIV Tour, and it’s safe to say he’s one of the better off golfers in the world right now!
