Charley Hull will be looking to make it two wins in a row out in Singapore this week, after victory in Riyadh two weeks ago.
Hull is playing in the HSBC Women’s World Championship this week.
And with the first major of the year just two months away now, Hull will be desperate to get her game in shape ahead of The Chevron Championship.
How many LPGA Tour events will Nelly Korda win in 2026?
The 29-year-old is one of the most popular players on the LPGA Tour, due to her aggressive playing style and carefree nature when she’s out on the golf course.
Padraig Harrington recently suggested that Hull’s ‘swashbuckling’ style makes her more akin to the men’s professional game than women’s.
She plays with real speed, power and bravery and all of those things should make her the ideal candidate to win a major championship very soon.
Charley Hull on whether she believes she will ever win a major
Hull has finished second four times at major championships throughout her career to date.
The 29-year-old from England clearly has the talent to get over the line but it remains to be seen whether she has the mentality required to win a major.
When speaking ahead of the HSBC Women’s World Championship, Hull was asked whether she really believes she will win a major championship before she retires.

“Yeah, I always like really want to win a major,“ she said.
“That’s my goal. Obviously had quite a lot of second-place finishes in majors. I’ll get there. Just carry on enjoying and not put too much pressure on myself. It’s just a game at the end of the day.“
Personally, I think it will just be a matter of time before Hull wins a major championship.
The Englishwoman is more than deserving of success at a major as well. She just needs to hole a few more putts when it really matters.
Charley Hull’s major championship record
It would be extremely helpful if Hull was handed some good luck along the way as well. It seems like she’s had plenty of bad breaks when in contention at major championships in the past.
Hopefully that will change for her moving forward.
Hull has come incredibly close to getting over the line at major championships in the past – on four occasions in fact.
| Major results | Hull’s totals |
| Majors played | 60 |
| Wins | 0 |
| Runner-ups | 4 |
| Top-5s | 5 |
| Top-10s | 10 |
| Cuts made | 43 |
Perhaps 2026 will be the year that Charley Hull finally breaks through and wins a major championship.
She certainly has the game. Now’s the time for her to step up and make it count when it matters the most.
