Phil Mickelson is back at Augusta National for another go at The Masters, a competition he has won three times.
Tiger Woods thinks he inspired Mickelson to be stronger, sharing that verdict after his fifth Masters win in 2019.
Mickelson looks at the fringe when putting from off the green at Augusta, the site of his 2004, 2006 and 2010 successes.
They represent three of his six major championship wins, with Mickelson also triumphing at the PGA Championship and The Open Championship.
He won the former in both 2005 and 2021, with the American icon emerging victorious at the latter in 2013.

Butch Harmon says Phil Mickelson winning The Masters is a ‘long shot’
His focus now turns back to The Masters, with legendary coach Butch Harmon previewing Mickelson’s chances at Augusta.
Asked on the Sky Sports Golf Podcast if Mickelson can win The Masters this year, Harmon replied: “I have to say no and yes.
“I know Phil as well as anybody because I worked with him for so long. He has played a lot better in the last few events.

“He played beautifully in Doral last week too. So, yeah, he has a chance. Has age caught him, because he is up there?
“He knows this place and knows how to win here. It would be a long shot to pick him, but then again who knows.”
What are Phil Mickelson’s 2025 LIV Golf results?
Mickelson is one of 12 LIV Golf players taking on Augusta this week, many of which could come under fire from fans.
But the legendary figure is likely not going to be in such a position, largely thanks to his superb history at The Masters.
| Tournament | Finish |
| Riyadh | N/A |
| Adelaide | T23 |
| Hong Kong | 3 |
| Singapore | T19 |
| Miami | 6 |
And he has been showing some of that form in 2025 so far, with the 54-year-old currently sitting 12th in the LIV Golf Individual standings.
After missing the opener in Riyadh through injury, he has been impressing on the course, with a top three finish clinched in Hong Kong.
