Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Reed have been preparing for the US Open at Shinnecock Hills.

DeChambeau and Reed joined up to play a practice round at Shinnecock Hills on Sunday ahead of the US Open.

The LIV Golf star, 32, has really struggled at the majors this season. Meanwhile, the 2018 Masters champion has a T-12 and a T-10 finish to his name at The Masters and the PGA Championship respectively.

Who do you fancy to be the next first-time major champion?

So many elite players are still searching for their first major title…

Both players will be desperate to get over the line and win at Shinnecock Hills this week.

Of course, DeChambeau already has two US Open wins to his name, while Reed is in search of his second major title.

Former LIV golfer Reed linked up with DeChambeau on Long Island on Sunday.

The two Americans played a practice round alongside Jackson Koivun at Shinnecock.

DeChambeau and Reed obviously spent a lot of time playing together on LIV Golf over the past few years.

Interestingly, Reed left LIV back in January.

And now the question is whether DeChambeau could follow suit when his contract expires at the end of the current season.

Reed will become eligible to return to the PGA Tour after August 26th.

However, DeChambeau may be offered a similar deal to the one that was extended to Brooks Koepka in January, if he decides that he wants to play golf on the PGA Tour once again.
