Bryson DeChambeau has named the LIV Golf star he would pick if he had to play every competitive round for the rest of his career with the same golfer from any tour.
Bryson DeChambeau is unquestionably one of the hottest properties in the game right now, with the 30-year-old going into 2024 already as arguably the most unique golfer on the main tours.
But he has since enjoyed an amazing season in the major championships, contending at The Masters before ultimately finishing tied for sixth at Augusta National. He was one putt away from then making a play-off at the PGA Championship at Valhalla.
And of course, DeChambeau went one better at the US Open this month, beating Rory McIlroy by one shot at Pinehurst after one of the best final rounds in recent major championship history.
Bryson DeChambeau names LIV Golf star he’d play every round with
DeChambeau is probably the player that most in the world want to play with right now, but who does the two-time major champion love to play alongside?
Speaking on The Scoop, DeChambeau was asked to name which player, on any tour, he would pick if he could only play with one for every competitive round for the rest of his career. And he opted for one of his Crushers GC teammates.

“Well, it wouldn’t be Pat Perez because he’s too damn funny. He’s way too funny. He’d be great to play with though,” he said.
“I would personally like to play with probably Charles Howell, because he’s the most positive individual I’ve ever met in my entire life, and straightforward. ‘Yes, yes sir, absolutely, totally, makes sense’, I’m mimicking him right now, but that’s him, he’s just so nice and so straightforward and doesn’t harm a fly. He just goes about his business and is just one of the nicest human beings I’ve ever met because a guy that’s like myself and can go up and down pretty quickly, he’s just right there to keep it even keel.”
How LIV move appears to have transformed DeChambeau
There is surely no question that DeChambeau is one of the big winners from the formation of LIV, having now established himself as a superstar of the modern game.
DeChambeau could have obviously done all of this great work while still on the PGA Tour, but his transformation into becoming one of the most popular players came after his move to the breakaway tour.
And some feel that being part of a team has played a big part in DeChambeau’s turnaround. He has definitely surrounded himself with great people – and is reaping the rewards on the golf course.
