Bryson DeChambeau has shared his thoughts on the course at Sentosa Golf Club ahead of LIV Golf in Singapore this weekend.
The trip to the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia is the second of two quickfire events for the breakaway tour after the three-day competition in Adelaide last week.
American Taylor Gooch took the title in 2023 after beating Sergio Garcia in a playoff.
DeChambeau will be looking to improve on last year’s finish. The big-hitting 30-year-old tied for 19th spot on seven-under-par.
The Crushers GC captain is still looking for his first victory of 2024 after picking up two wins in the 2023 LIV Golf season.

DeChambeau joined LIV in 2022 and is arguably one of the biggest names to defect from the PGA Tour. Evidently, the American is entirely on board with Greg Norman’s breakaway venture.
Unsurprisingly, ahead of the competition at Sentosa Golf Club, the one-time major winner was complimentary of the venue.
“Last year was really hot but the fans were awesome,” he explained [footage via TenGolf].
“They showed up in waves and are great people. The golf course is exciting; it’s a good test of golf, and the greens are immaculate. I am looking forward to some pristine conditions, some great fans, a good atmosphere and a good time.”
Singapore can be a happy hunting ground for Bryson DeChambeau and Crushers GC
DeChambeau’s last victory came in September 2023 in Chicago. Despite flirting with the leaderboard since the turn of the year, he hasn’t entirely managed to hit the heights he would expect of himself.
Before his 28th-place finish at LIV Golf Adelaide last week, the California-born star had managed three top tens in a row in Jeddah, Hong Kong and Miami.
One positive is the Crushers GC’s form heading to South East Asia. DeChambeau’s team currently lead the team event and finished third in LIV’s last visit to Sentosa.
A similar finish will be desired ahead of the trip to Houston at the start of June.
