Bryson DeChambeau and Cam Young combined to earn the United States a priceless point in the Ryder Cup morning foursomes session on Saturday.
Bradley seemingly missed a trick by not pairing DeChambeau with Bethpage Black fan favourite Cam Young on day one.
The LIV golfer and the PGA Tour star vibed with one another really well on day two of the Ryder Cup and provided a rare ray of light for the home team.
Jack Nicklaus predicted that the United States would win the Ryder Cup before the first tee shot on Friday, but the Europeans have been utterly dominant at Bethpage so far.
Keegan Bradley has made some truly awful decisions at Bethpage this week.
And unfortunately, Bradley has been unable to motivate his US Ryder Cup team members.
However, his decision to put DeChambeau and Young out there for the foursomes session on Saturday was an inspired one.
Bryson DeChambeau gives his opinion on Cam Young after Ryder Cup win
Young has arguably been the best player for the American team at Bethpage this week.
After his victory on Saturday morning, he has two wins from two matches and he clearly should have been thrown in from the start.

He was a real stud out there, and his partner was clearly hugely impressed by his ability.
When asked how he gelled with Young, DeChambeau said: “For our country, it was just pedal to the metal. Cam played unbelievable today. We struck it well, we executed when we needed to and we just put the pressure on them all day. They struggled to get momentum, and when we had our opportunities, we took advantage.“
He was then asked what he particularly liked about Young’s golf game.
The 32-year-old said: “Yeah, Cam just struck it unbelievable today with his irons. It was nice having a couple of two-footers to tap in, so it was sweet.
“We played really well and we putted it well. Again, just going to continue the momentum into this afternoon. Even though it was just one point, it’s a small victory but it’s a victory we needed to get the boys fired up.“
Did DeChambeau feel the need to prove himself?
He replied: “Yeah, first off, we wanted to prove to the captain that we were right for the job. Cam played unbelievable today. Hitting that wedge shot super close on 1 and getting up and keeping that pressure on him, fortunately we stuck it out and played really well coming in.“
Cam Young comments on Ryder Cup win and DeChambeau as a partner
Young seems to have reached a whole new level with his performances in his home state this week.
The New Yorker produced the goods when his country needed him most, and Young spoke to reporters after about his thoughts on his foursomes win alongside DeChambeau.
He said: “I think we played a bunch of great golf yesterday, and I’m sure today is no different. We’re hearing that the boys behind us are playing really well. We’ve got a great team and we’ve got some work to do, but we’ve got full belief that we can do it.
“Yeah, it’s been awesome. I’ve been fortunate to have two great partners thus far, and we’d love to be giving the fans a bit more of a reason to be going nuts, but I think that’s still coming.
“Yeah, it’s been a lot of fun. This is the kind of stuff you dream of, and we’ve performed well over the last couple days and having gotten a few points on the board is pretty awesome.“
Young will be out there playing once again in the afternoon on Saturday and he will need to produce another point for the Americans if they are to have any chance whatsoever of winning the Ryder Cup.
