Brooks Koepka has never been short on confidence and he’s now decided there’s only one man in the game of golf who is better than him.
The five-time major winner has every reason to be confident given the success he has had in the game and it’s safe to say he doesn’t shy away from showing that confidence when he can.
Now over on the LIV Golf tour, Koepka is not seen or heard quite as much as some golf fans would like.
However, he’s still got that brashness about him and when asked to name a better golfer than him, Koepka was his usual confident self.

Brooks Koepka names the only golfer in the world who is better than him
Brooks Koepka was doing an interview for the Golf Digest and was playing a little game of stay quiet.
The objective for Koepka was to stay quiet until he heard a golfer named who was better than him.
And as the names such as Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy, Xander Schauffele and Scottie Scheffler were brought up, Koepka remained deathly silent.
That was, until one name came up. Tiger Woods.
Why Brooks Koepka thinks people don’t like him
Brooks Koepka is one of the best golfers of the last few decades and his five major titles tell that story on their own.
However, by his own admission, Koepka believes that his confident nature can sometimes lead to people getting the wrong impression of him.
“I mean, I’m pretty confident, but I feel like everybody should be confident in themselves, and if you’re not – people hate confidence. That’s why people aren’t a big fan of me,” Koepka said back in 2022.
Still, the American won’t care one jot really. He has the game and the trophies to back his confidence up and ultimately, when he steps away from the game, he’ll go down as one of the best ever.
Whether or not people still don’t take to him, is their perogative.
