Brooks Koepka will make his return to the PGA Tour on Thursday at Torrey Pines in the Farmers Insurance Open.

He said: “Brooks Koepka’s Tour return at Torrey is a great opportunity to remind you he’s still playing a TaylorMade ‘17 M2 (3-wood) and Nike Vapor Fly Pro (3-iron).
“Fun fact about the Vapor Fly Pro: It has two thumbprint-sized divots in the Fujikura Pro shaft from years of rubbing against the bag.
“Not sure I’ve ever seen anything like it while covering gear on tour. Whatever works.“
Considering just how meticulous professional golfers are with their equipment, the state of the shaft on Koepka’s 3-iron is quite extraordinary.

However, Koepka is obviously more than comfortable with the club, and he said as much during his press conference on Tuesday.

“No. I haven’t really tested anything,” Koepka admitted.

“I like everything that I’ve got in the bag. I feel like I have a good understanding of the control, where the misses are.
