Brooks Koepka is the story in the world of golf right now, with the American set to make his return to the PGA Tour on Thursday.

Koepka will be back in action on the PGA Tour in La Jolla at Torrey Pines for the Farmers Insurance Open.

It was only two weeks ago when Koepka was reinstated as a PGA Tour member, after he moved on from LIV Golf on December 23rd.

The five-time major champion is the first player to jump ship from LIV and return immediately to the PGA Tour.

Koepka managed to win a major during his time with LIV but in general, his form at the four biggest events in the game was nowhere near good enough.

He’s back where he wants to be now, on the best tour in the world.

However, there is one thing about LIV Golf that Koepka seems to be pretty sad to have left behind.

Brooks Koepka admits the one thing he will miss about LIV Golf

Koepka is one of the most honest golfers in the game.

So it was no surprise that when the 35-year-old was asked a challenging question about LIV Golf, regarding what he misses about the Saudi-backed outfit.

I think maybe just being around the guys, right, because we’re not — everybody’s not around each other all the time, Koepka admitted.

I think sometimes, I mean we were all one big traveling circus, right?

That’s kind of what it is. It’s fun and I’m going to miss some of those guys, seeing those guys pretty much week to week out there.

The relationships I’ve built with those guys and not seeing them all the time, that will be quite different.

Now Koepka will get the chance to reacquaint himself with the players on the PGA Tour who he already knows, and to meet many of the game’s talented young stars for the first time.

When speaking to the press on Tuesday, Koepka was asked what he missed about the PGA Tour during his time with LIV Golf.

That’s a good question.

I think the ability to have my family out all the time. I think that was one thing because they didn’t travel too much over the last few years.

But like they’re going to be out this week, so I am super excited to be able to have them out.

Koepka will now be playing almost exclusively in the United States and that means he will obviously be closer to his family.

He clearly missed the competitiveness of the PGA Tour as well during his time on LIV.

Now we will see whether he still has what it takes to compete with the very best golfers in the world.

It will be incredibly interesting to see how Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour at the Farmers Insurance Open this week plays out.
