The PGA Tour/LIV Golf saga has been going on for years now, and it’s seemingly still far from over.

Most golf fans would agree that it’s a shame the divide happened in the first place and that a merger of some sort is crucial to the sport.

When that could be finalized is up in the air, and until then, everyone will have to remain patient while the higher-ups negotiate in the background.

PGA Tour star Billy Horschel spoke about the situation recently and explained that, from a player’s perspective, his colleagues have to deal with something more than the LIV Golfers.

Billy Horschel shares what PGA Tour players face more often than LIV Golfers

Scottie Scheffler said that it’s not just on the PGA Tour to find a resolution between the two parties, and Horschel was asked whether he agreed with the world number one.

The 38-year-old suggested that he did, though he took the opportunity to point out that PGA Tour players face more questions about it than those on the other side.

Horschel said: “The PGA Tour had their own little part to play in it. Both sides have had their own hand in this whole situation over the last three or four years.

“I would say, on the PGA Tour side, we as players get asked more often about reunification, the talks, what they want.

“I follow the media for the most part and I would say they don’t get asked as much as us out on the PGA Tour. The questions aren’t asked to the players or the executives out there (on LIV) as much.”

Billy Horschel wants solution to PGA Tour/LIV Golf problem

Horschel’s stance on what he would like to see happen between the PGA Tour and LIV Golf fell in line with what most players and fans think.

The American added: “Everyone who’s been in the game at the professional level over the last several years on the PGA Tour and LIV Golf has all had a part in the situation we find ourselves in.

“Hopefully, there’s some resolution here in the future. I know we’ve all been saying that for the last 18 months, but it’s a very difficult thing to figure out.”

There are many different avenues that a potential agreement could go down but what we all want to see is the best players in the world compete against each other more often.
