It’s a completely fair statement to say that Anthony Kim’s move to the LIV Golf ranks has been a touch disappointing to say the least.
Kim arrived on LIV to plenty of fanfare as the world looked on to see if he could rediscover the form that made him such a hot property on the PGA Tour previously.
However, Kim’s time with LIV has been nothing short of a disaster.

Despite plenty of positivity and graciousness from the man himself, in terms of actual results on the course, he’s been nowhere near the level expected of a professional golfer being paid millions to play.
This weekend at LIV Indianapolis saw Kim finally relegated and now, there is a big doubt over his career on the tour in general.

Anthony Kim posts on social media after LIV Golf nightmare
Anthony Kim is still a talented golfer but his time on LIV has been an utter nightmare.
After this weekend, he now faces a big call from both the powers that be and himself in terms of if he carries on.
For now, though, Kim has taken to his Instagram page to post his first words since his relegation.
“Thank U @livgolf_league INDIANAPOLIS🙏 4 the ❤️. As many of y’all that support me know this was the final event of the individual season & unfortunately didn’t have the results this year. On a positive note my game has gotten significantly better even tho the scores def didn’t reflect it but gr8 things take time.
“I have lots of thoughts on the last 2 years, my journey in recovery from mental illness & addiction & my future plans I will share on www.anthonykimofficial.com starting next week that I think would be interesting 2 some. Thank U GOD 4 my family @emilybstanley & BELLA, sobriety, the ❤️& support from all around the world”
Anthony Kim’s record on LIV Golf
Kim’s record on LIV has been disastrous and there’s no other way around saying it.
In 2024, his best ever finish was a 36th place, with most of the events he played ending with him finishing outside the top 50.
In 2025, things haven’t got much better either.
There were a couple of beacons of hope when he finished T29 in Miami and then T25 in Dallas but in the main, it’s just not been good enough.
Quite how LIV Golf can keep him around now is another argument altogether but he’s shown nothing to say he deserves another shot.
