Adam Scott played alongside Tiger Woods and Keegan Bradley in the first round of the PGA Championship at Valhalla.
The Australian has one major championship to his name, coming in the 2013 Masters, where he beat Angel Cabrera in a playoff to become the first player from Down Under to don a Green Jacket.
Scott, 43, will perhaps be disappointed to have not added another major title to his resume, particularly when you consider the number of events he’s competed in.
In fact, the Aussie is currently on a remarkable run that nobody else in world golf can match.
No one can match Adam Scott’s remarkable major record

After teeing off in Louisville on Thursday, Scott has now participated in 91 major championships in a row.
The last time he missed a major championship was the U.S. Open in 2001.
Phil Mickelson also boasted an impressive record when it came to participation in majors; however, due to his LIV Golf switch, the six-time major champion missed the Masters in 2022.

It’s hard to think of a more inch-perfect swing than Scott’s. The result may not always be ideal, but the 43-year-old’s textbook action has drawn plaudits from some of the game’s greats.
Speaking back in 2022, Rory McIlroy claimed he could watch Scott’s swing all day long.
“Yeah, anyone could watch Adam Scott swing all day long,” he explained. “He’s got a nice rhythm.”
Scott has also repaid the complement to the Northern Irishman. “I love watching him swing a golf club,” he said. “I think almost everyone in the world would say that.”
When the 2013 Masters winner eventually calls it a day, the golfing world will no doubt miss what has been one of the most elegant actions in the modern game.
