Scottie Scheffler is all set for his third PGA Tour appearance of the season, with the world number one headlining the field at the Genesis Invitational.
Scheffler has relatively struggled at Torrey Pines South, which plays host to the Genesis Invitational this week.
The PGA Tour Signature Event has been moved from the Riviera Country Club due to the wildfires in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
In another major change, tournament host Tiger Woods has withdrawn from the Genesis Invitational as he mourns the passing of his mother.
Woods made his PGA Tour debut at the 1992 Nissan Open at Riviera, with the competition now known as the Genesis Invitational.

Legendary figure Woods has never won the event, and neither has Scheffler, who has been getting to grips with Torrey Pines ahead of the tournament.
The PGA Tour has documented a practice round from the world’s best golfer, who looked in high spirits as he practised from the likes of the tee, fairway and bunker.
TaylorMade has also shared footage of the American and indeed his fellow professional Tommy Fleetwood taking on the par-three 16th.
Playing 228 yards into the wind during their practice round, Scheffler hit a 7-wood as Fleetwood opted for a 5-wood.

The PGA Tour has only just visited Torrey Pines, with Harris English having emerged victorious at the Farmers Insurance Open.
The iconic course hosted the tournament last month, and now welcomes several PGA Tour stars back for the Genesis Invitational.

Scheffler, however, was not involved, with the world number one having still been recovering from hand surgery.
He made his 2025 PGA Tour season debut at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, finishing T9 with a score of 15-under.
Scheffler then fell to T25 after his nine-under finish at the WM Phoenix Open last week as Thomas Detry stormed to the title.
It would, however be foolish to rule out the 13-time PGA Tour champion from lifting the trophy this time around.
Even with his recent injury and indeed his relative difficulties at Torrey Pines South, Scheffler in full flow is near-impossible to stop.
