While golf fans know the next four courses that are set to host the Ryder Cup in America, Europe seem to be in no rush to name the next handful of venues following Adare Manor in 2027.
One of the factors which has added to the excitement ahead of the 2025 Ryder Cup is the fact that it will be staged at Bethpage Black. US captain Keegan Bradley has explained why he believes Bethpage is special, and it certainly has the potential to be an amazing venue for arguably the best event in golf.
Finding the right course for the Ryder Cup is clearly not an easy task. Obviously, the matches themselves largely decide how successful each edition has been, but courses such as Le Golf National and Oakland Hills have definitely added to the drama – providing the perfect stage for the theatre which follows.
And it seems that the golfing world now knows where the 2031 event will be held.
2031 Ryder Cup venue set to be announced
According to The Telegraph, Camiral Golf and Wellness has won the bidding war. The course – which was previously known as PGA Catalunya – was initially built to host the 1997 Ryder Cup before it was moved to Valderrama.

The report notes that the 18 holes played during the Ryder Cup will include holes from both of the courses on the property after planning permission for a third course, specifically for the Ryder Cup, was refused.
PGA Catalunya had previously hosted a number of DP World Tour events, including the Open de Espana on three occasions. The final edition of the event held at the course was won by Miguel Angel Jimenez a decade ago.
Where is the 2035 Ryder Cup likely to be held?
The Telegraph notes that England will have gone more than three decades without hosting the event by the time 2035 comes around, with the Belfry hosting the delayed 2001 matches.
It is suggested that courses in England are on pole position to be awarded the 2035 Ryder Cup. It was noted developments in England were in contention for 2031 while there was some doubt over Camiral, but it seems that those concerns have been alleviated.
