Scottie Scheffler continues his 2025 season at the FedEx St. Jude Championship this week, where he is in contention for the title.
Scheffler enters round four sitting third in the FedEx St. Jude Championship leaderboard, two shots behind leader Tommy Fleetwood.
Justin Rose occupies second place at the tournament at TPC Southwind, with the Englishman paired with his compatriot on Sunday.
Scheffler meanwhile plays his last round with J.J. Spaun, with the duo both representing major champions this year.
The former won the PGA Championship and The Open Championship as the latter won the US Open, while Rory McIlroy won The Masters.

Scheffler has, however, been the dominant force on the PGA Tour in 2025, with his ability in and around the greens having been crucial to his success.
Fortunately for amateur golfers, the world number one was on hand to demonstrate such ability for TaylorMade Golf in 2024.
Sharing how he puts spin on and takes it off when greenside, he explained: “To hit the high spinner, always need an open clubface, that way I can hit it harder, and it’s that speed that creates the spin on the ball.
“In order for it not to go super far, I’ve got to add loft. So first things first, open it up, then grip the club. I’ve got the ball on the front of my stance, and one of the most important things for me to feel on a shot like this, is I like to feel hooky.
“If I try and hit a lot of cut spin on a shot like this, I’m going to go too far across the ball, and then it’s going to cause the ball to ride up the face instead of catching in the grooves.
“This one, I’m not trying to get a ton of rollout on a lower shot. So really, this one’s more of just a lower normal pitch.
“If I was trying to get a lot of run, I’d square the face and hook it, so when the ball hits it kind of starts running like that.
“This also gives me some room for error to where, if I’m trying to land it closer to that tier, if I hit a little hard, it’s going to land into that tier, and it’s probably still going to end up really good.
“So once again, taking a high percentage shot, I’d say it’s more of a square feel on this one, no hook, just kind of feeling like my hands are staying low and body’s moving towards the target. But most importantly is the setup. Ball a bit further back, clubface slightly open.”

Scheffler certainly can’t be ruled out of further success in the FedEx Cup playoffs, having already won four times on the PGA Tour this season.
Along with his triumphs at the PGA Championship and The Open, the American emerged victorious at the Memorial Tournament and THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson.

He has been very impressive in various aspects, and that includes his skill and touch in many areas around the greens.
Sitting atop the FedEx Cup standings, Scheffler is set to be among those taking on the BMW Championship and the Tour Championship in the coming weeks.
