The golf world rankings look very different today than they did 10 years ago in 2016.
Scottie Scheffler currently sits top of the pile, ahead of Rory McIlroy in second and Matt Fitzpatrick in third.
The world rankings have been somewhat skewed over the past few years, with LIV Golf having only just started to receive ranking points.
Cam Young, Justin Rose and Collin Morikawa follow Scheffler, McIlroy and Fitzpatrick in the rankings.
While Tommy Fleetwood, Russell Henley, Xander Schauffele and J.J Spaun currently round out the top 10.

It really is remarkable to see how much things have changed since 2016.
So, let’s take a journey down memory lane to see how the world rankings looked 10 years ago.
Where the top 10 golfers in the world from 2016 are ranked today
The top 10 in the Official World Golf Rankings today is almost unrecognizable from the list in 2016.
Many of the players who occupied the top 10 a decade ago have vanished into oblivion.
Back in 2016, Jason Day topped the world rankings. The Australian is now ranked as the 38th best golfer in the world.
In second place was Jordan Spieth, who has since fallen to 51st over the course of the last decade.
The least movement inside the top 10 over the past 10 years comes in the form of Rory McIlroy.
The Northern Irishman was ranked third in 2016 and is now sitting in second, behind Scottie Scheffler.
Bubba Watson, who was ranked fourth in 2016, has experienced the second biggest drop out of the players who were inside the top 10 a decade ago, with the American now ranked 716th in the world.

Next up is Rickie Fowler, who was ranked as the world’s fifth best golfer 10 years ago. He has now drifted out to world number 56 a decade later.
6th-10th ranked places have seen some huge changes
Then we come to the player who has lost the most places in the world rankings since this time 10 years ago – Henrik Stenson.
He has fallen from sixth place all the way down to 1,255th.
Ranked in seventh place in 2016 was Adam Scott, who is now sitting in 53rd in the rankings.
Dustin Johnson was the eighth ranked player in the world 10 years ago and he is now sitting in 458th position.
2016 Masters champion Danny Willett was sitting in ninth place in the world rankings a decade ago, but he has tumbled down to 406th.
Finally we come to Justin Rose, who is one of only two players who were inside the top 10 a decade ago to have climbed the rankings since then.
He was ranked 10th in 2016 and now sits in fifth in 2026.
Golf has changed immeasurably over the past 10 years, with the inception of LIV Golf having played a big role in the rankings being somewhat skewed.
However, McIlroy and Rose still deserve huge credit for not only remaining inside the top 10 ranked golfers in the world over the past decade, but for actually improving upon their positions.
