Tiger Woods rightfully earned all the plaudits after his 2019 Masters win, which represents his last major championship success.
Woods admitted he hit an ‘awful’ shot en route to The Masters title, when he won the event for the fifth time in his career.
The American boasts 15 major championship wins in total, and has a total of 82 PGA Tour wins to his name.
Woods blew Brooks Koepka away with his stunning 2019 Masters comeback, with the latter finishing joint second with Dustin Johnson and Xander Schauffele.
The trio were left helpless as Woods produced an unforgettable display to clinch the trophy by one shot at Augusta National.

Tiger Woods predicted Tony Finau to win a major championship after the 2019 Masters
Two more Americans followed closely behind, with Tony Finau and Webb Simpson tying for fifth alongside Jason Day and Francesco Molinari.
And among his winning press conference questions, Woods was tasked with rating Finau’s game, having played with his compatriot in the final round.

“I mean, God, he hits it long,” said Woods. “I mean, he makes a little half‑swing, and still hits the ball out there 310, 320 in the air. It’s just remarkable.
“You know, it helps that your ankle’s not dislocated, either. He’s able to walk around there and hit good shots.

“Tony’s made some leaps in the last couple years. He’s starting to piece together a game that’s going to contend week in and week out.
“He shows it every now and again but it’s getting more consistent. He’s learning what to do and what not to do strategically.
“So you can see the mind working out there. It wasn’t like when he was younger, just go ahead and pound it out there.
“He’s starting to figure out shots and shapes and he’s starting to figure out how to play, and it’s only going to get better.
“With that length, it’s such an asset, especially in today’s game, that he’ll win multiple tournaments, and I’m sure a major championship is definitely in his future.”
What are Tony Finau’s best major championship finishes?
Finau is a six-time PGA Tour champion, but has failed to emerge victorious since the 2023 Mexican Open.
He showed superb promise at the 2019 Masters, but like many others in the field could do nothing to stop Woods from a 15th major title.

Finau did, however, evidently leave a mark on the champion, but he has somewhat struggled to live up to that praise.
The American has, however, clinched his best results in all four major championships from 2019 onwards, beginning at Augusta.
