Tom Watson – 72.74
For players to play 100 or more rounds at The Masters, Tom Watson is the man with the fifth-lowest career scoring average.
He has played 134 rounds at Augusta National in Georgia, across which he has a scoring average of 72.74.
A two-time winner of The Masters and eight-time major winner overall, icon Watson has a best-ever round of 67.
Fred Couples – 72.43
Fred Couples has played 142 rounds at the prestigious tournament, with a scoring average of 72.43, and a low of 66.
Remarkably, golfing icon Couples only claimed one major win during his entire career, which arrived at The Masters.
Recovering from a one-shot deficit after 54 holes, he triumphed over Raymond Floyd by two shots in 1992.
Jack Nicklaus – 71.98
No conversation about The Masters would be complete without Jack Nicklaus, who tops the pile for most major wins with 18.
Six of those wins arrived at Augusta National – once again more than any other player – where he recorded an average of 71.98.
That comes despite the American legend playing a mammoth 163 rounds, from which he produced a low of 64.

Phil Mickelson – 71.44
Another multiple winner of The Masters, Phil Mickelson boasts the second-best scoring average at the tournament.
That currently stands at 71.44 from his 120 rounds, with 65 representing his best-ever score at Augusta National.
A six-time major champion, LIV Golf star Mickelson emerged victorious in Georgia in 2004, 2006 and 2010.

Tiger Woods – 71.30
Perhaps unsurprisingly, claiming top spot for the best scoring average at The Masters is Tiger Woods, arguably the greatest golfer of all time.
He was in contention to line out at the iconic event once again this year, but another appearance has unfortunately been delayed.
But Woods will be remembered at The Masters this year, a tournament at which he boasts a scoring average of 71.30 from 100 rounds, with 65 also his best.
