LIV Golf Mexico City predictions
The Golfing Gazette writers have predicted the winner of this weekend’s LIV Golf event in Mexico City:
Peter Lynch: A lot was made of Joaquin Niemann’s chances of success at The Masters, and he should be disappointed with his T29 finish. I think that could drive him to glory in Mexico, along with his strong start to the LIV Golf season in general.
Jordan Harris: Dustin Johnson has won twice on this golf course previously and has shown signs of some really impressive form this season. This would be a good opportunity to make a statement after such a disappointing week at The Masters.
James Shearman: Tyrrell Hatton’s contention at The Masters fizzled out over the weekend, but T14 was still a strong finish. He last won on LIV Golf in June 2024, so he’s due a win, which could come in Mexico City.
