PGA Tour fans have seen some weird and wonderful things happen throughout the years.
From memorable shots, both good and bad, to bizarre occurrences that simply cannot be explained.
The PGA Tour is the place to be if you’re a top player.
There are incredible riches on offer for the players, and the chance for them to write their names in history.

However, some achieve more success than others.
And one player in particular suffered one of the worst breaks you will ever see back in 2021.
Mark Hensby once called a 10-stroke penalty on himself during a PGA Tour event
Hensby, now 53, is from Melbourne, Australia.
He is an experienced journeyman, having played 193 events on the PGA Tour.
The Australian won the John Deere Classic in 2004, and made 94 cuts in total throughout his career.
However, at the Palmetto Championship in 2021, Hensby suffered an absolute nightmare.
He called a 10-shot penalty on himself, after playing with the wrong ball for five holes.

Whilst on the putting green, Hensby picked up one of Pat Perez’s balls by mistake, and as per the PGA Tour’s “one-ball rule,” whereby players are assessed a two-stroke penalty for each hole they play a ball that is not the same brand and model that they start a round with, he was dealt a heavy punishment.
He ended up shooting an 84 and subsequently withdrew from the event. Hensby went on to play just five PGA Tour events after his mishap at the Palmetto Championship, and he made just one cut.
Life after the PGA Tour for Mark Hensby
Hensby has gone on to achieve some success on PGA Tour Champions.
He has made 64 cuts out of 66 events that he has played, with one win and 10 top-10 finishes to his name.
Whilst that moment four years ago at the Palmetto Championship would have been an incredibly bitter pill to swallow for Hensby, he moved on nicely to make a career for himself at senior level.
It’s worth remembering that Hensby took up golf originally to escape the tough childhood he spent in a divided home.
So he should be able to deal with anything the game throws at him now – even a 10-shot penalty!
