The Masters rapidly approaches, with Augusta National Golf Club once again playing host to the first major championship of the season.
Scottie Scheffler could win a third Masters title in 2025, having clinched the prize in 2022 and 2024 for his two major titles so far.
Americans have dominated the Masters since its inception, but Spaniard Jon Rahm and Japanese ace Hideki Matsuyama are among its recent winners.
Legendary figure Jack Nicklaus tops the pile for the most titles with six, just ahead of fellow icon Tiger Woods with five.
The latter will hopefully be making another appearance at Augusta this time around, although it remains to be seen if he will be fully fit to take on the iconic course.

Sungjae Im shoots 273 on Masters debut as Dustin Johnson breaks record
Woods won his most recent title in 2019, with his fellow American Dustin Johnson winning the Masters a year later.
His stunning 268 remains the lowest score ever shot at the Masters as he finished on 20-under, but Sungjae Im also had a tournament to remember as he tied for second with Cameron Smith.
Both Im and Smith finished on 15-under, but the former’s 273 remains the best score for someone playing their first-ever Masters.
He really caught the eye with rounds of 66, 70, 68 and 69, but missed out on the title after the sheer brilliance of Johnson.

Im has had a roller-coaster journey at the famous competition since then, with T8 and T16 finishes along with two missed cuts.
Johnson meanwhile has since made the switch to LIV Golf, while world number one Scheffler could join an elite group with another title this season.

But they fall well short of the Masters, where the current crop of stars may just be out to topple Johnson’s fantastic record from 2020.
