The Ryder Cup will be well underway this time next week, with the United States renewing their epic rivalry with Europe at Bethpage Black.
United States Ryder Cup star Xander Schauffele is expecting a noisy crowd at Bethpage, which is located in Long Island, New York.
Team Europe have already practiced at Bethpage in a bid to get to grips with the course, which is certain to challenge every player across both teams.
It continues the trend of iconic locations hosting the prestigious event, and should play host to another Ryder Cup thriller.
The upcoming event could also bring about exciting new pairings, one of which may involve Justin Thomas being paired with Cameron Young.
He won all five Ryder Cup matches he played with Arnold Palmer
But it is going to take a mammoth effort for that potential duo and any other to emulate the feats of Arnold Palmer and Gardner Dickinson once upon a time.
Dickinson played on the 1967 and 1971 United States Ryder Cup teams, with his side emerging victorious on both occasions.
And he played an integral role in both, firstly producing a 5-0-0 masterclass at Champions Golf Club, Houston.
His teammate Palmer also went unbeaten in his five matches, helping the United States secure a 23½-8½ win, the largest in Ryder Cup history.
Dickinson and Palmer then continued their heroics into the 1971 Ryder Cup at Old Warson Country Club, St. Louis, where they maintained their unbeaten partnership.
Across the two events, they won all four of their foursomes matches and their only four-ball match, and represent the only pair to go 5-for-5 in the history of the competition.

How did US Ryder Cup hero Gardner Dickinson perform on the PGA Tour?
Dickinson certainly wasn’t limited to Ryder Cup success, with the American winning seven times on the PGA Tour.
He made 477 appearances in total, making the cut on 397 occasions and finishing as runner-up 12 times.
