Augusta National is known as one of the most exclusive sporting institutions on the planet.
Only a tiny percentage of people can say they’ve played the famous course, and those who qualify for the Masters Tournament are among a select group.
As you can imagine, becoming a member of Augusta National is extremely difficult. Only 300 members are active at any one time. Furthermore, there is no application process, and invitation is the only way to become a full-time member of the exclusive club.
There have been suggestions that heads of corporations or states have a better chance of receiving an invite.
According to reports, the latest big names to become members include NFL superstar Eli Manning and former CBS Sports chairman Sean McManus.
After the latest news, The Golfing Gazette has examined all the celebrities who are currently members of Augusta.

Warren Buffett
As you can imagine, Augusta is particularly secretive over its membership, making it hard to track down who is actually part of the club. However, in 2015, Bloomberg published 118 rich and influential members.
Warren Buffett is an American businessman who is considered one of the most successful investors of his time. He has amassed a fortune of over $60bn and is one of Augusta’s most famous members.
Bill Gates
Microsoft genius Bill Gates is also reportedly a member. The 69-year-old is famous for co-founding the software company and has amassed a personal fortune of $103bn.

Arnold Palmer was also part of the club before his passing in September 2016.
Roger Goodell
Several figures from other sports are also members at Augusta National. Roger Goodell, who was formerly the commissioner of the NFL, is a member and has been seen wearing his famous green jacket whilst at The Masters.
Lynn Swann
Another NFL figure who is a member is former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Lynn Swann.
The 74-year-old has been spotted at The Masters and has been a member of the exclusive club since 2009.
