CJ Cup Byron Nelson picks

The Golfing Gazette writers have predicted which player will win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson this week:

Jordan Harris: Mackenzie Hughes has not played his best golf in 2025, but his two top 10s for the year have come in his last two starts, including a third-place finish at the RBC Heritage. If his best iron play turns up this week, he could be a surprise package.

James Shearman: Stephan Jaeger is having an impressive 2025 season on the PGA Tour, with two top-10 finishes already. The German won his only Tour event at the Houston Open last March and could win his second in Texas this week.

Peter Lynch: Scottie Scheffler should be the man to beat this week, but I think Europeans can continue their dominance of the PGA Tour this season via a Rasmus Hojgaard victory.
